Computers can become difficult to use when text is small, screens are crowded, controls are hard to find, or everyday tasks depend on remembering shortcuts and several precise steps.
Many people with low vision continue to rely on some amount of usable vision, especially those adjusting to vision loss later in life. Yet accessibility is often designed for people who can no longer rely on visual interaction.
Nexa builds on the way they already use their computers. It simplifies common tasks while allowing people to continue using familiar applications and accessibility features.

Nexa is at an early stage. We are looking for people with low vision, rehabilitation and accessibility organisations, and other design partners to test real workflows and help us understand what a useful, dependable interaction should look like.
We are particularly interested in co-design, research, and small pilot collaborations. Nexa is not yet ready for large-scale deployment.
